…that is the question on many people’s lips. Following a rather shocking revelation of what greed does to those we [once] deemed as honest business people, the rumor mill is in full speed about Primrose Crous seeking divorce from drama queen of the year award winner, Theunis Crous.
Although the couple’s PR representative was quick to rubbish this, one media deep throat claims that Mrs. Crous (34) has been spending more and more time at her Welkom hometown, with a family she once disowned.
Theunis Crous, through his construction company Ho Hup, has been accused of claiming false VAT refunds between 2010 and 2011, defrauding SARS a tune of R3.6m. Matsepe Attorneys, trustees managing Crous’s insolvent estate, has confirmed that his creditors include;
– R3.8m owed to Absa Bank
– R6m owed to Standard Bank
– FNB is also claiming R2.7m and has since applied to have Crous liquidated
They also confirmed that his assets around the country were sold to pay creditors. This includes his Dainfern matrimonial home likely to be auctioned soon, with a minimum value of R3.4m. Another R1m home in Morningside has been sold for R700 000, as well as one of his upmarket Port Elizabeth properties. A Graaff-Reinet property has since been abandoned.
This week the court permited to have all of Crous’s asserts frozen, bringing him a step closer to sleeping on the pavement and criss-crossing taxi ranks soon.
Theunis and Primrose Crous rose to fame courtesy of marriage-wrecking gold-digging reality TV starlet, Khanyi Mbau. Only until recently, the media spotlight has since dimmed on the couple, partly because Theunis gave Khanyi a kangaroo boot out of his Michaelangelo penthouse, confiscated his BMW Z4 SDrive and Lamboghini – and partly because Primrose indicated no star quality (if you have not heard Primrose speak, then your ears are truly blessed and protected by the holy blood. Dear Lord, her Engrish?!!).
